Questions About ABC™ - Treatment Method

No, they are not quite the same. Chiropractic generally speaking only tackles your body’s compensations, whereas ABC™ gets to the route of the problem(s) so your body no longer needs it compensations.

No, I (Mohammed Jibran) am NOT a chiropractor. You do not need to be in order to learn and practice ABC™.

Yes! The clinic has full indemnity insurance.

We have different pricing plans depending on the level of treatment you need and how long for. See ‘Treatment Plans’ page for more details.

You need a physical assessment done first, which can take up to 90 minutes. Treatments can take between 20 – 40 minutes.

This depends on your body. Generally speaking it is recommended to have treatment twice a week for the most optimum recovery.

Again this depends on your body and how well you want to get. For simple symptom relief 12 or so treatments over a couple of months may suffice. Whereas if you want to fully recover, on average, a typical adult would have unwound and recovered enough after 2-3 years assuming twice weekly appointments kept. This may be more for some and less for others.

No. We only treat what needs to be done on that day. On another day we may need to go back to some areas we have already done but each appointment will need different areas treated. Some sessions could be longer than others.

Yes, absolutely. ABC™ is safe and recommended for all ages of people and quite safe. As the manoeuvres are slow in nature, the protocol is actually safer than most regular chiropractic techniques.

Some manoeuvres, in particular the meningeal releases, can be a little uncomfortable at times but as long as you remain loose and relaxed it is not painful.

General Questions About the Clinic

There is a limited amount of parking available on site but there is more public parking available on the side streets nearby.

Of course, as long as we have 24 hours notice we can reschedule your appointment to a more convenient time. Please note however MISSED appointments will not be rescheduled.

No. You can carry on about your normal daily routine. We do recommend however that you follow the SSS advice, i.e. how to sit, stand, and sleep optimally for the most effective recovery.

Ideally we’d recommend a few days between treatments to maximize unwinding between treatments, however if you can only make it on one day out of the week and you need 2 or more treatments, you can space them by an hour or more.

No, of course not. However, they are recommended for optimum unwinding and recovery. The mattress and pillow in particular are highly recommended, as well as the seat wedge if you stay seated for long periods of time.
